More about me

Hi! I'm Ratna.

I'm a qualified social worker with 15 years experience in the human services sector. My work has spanned frontline roles, leadership, quality and compliance, and practice improvement. This breadth of experience has shaped a deep understanding of the pressures, complexities, and responsibilities carried by practitioners and organisations.

A strong commitment to reflective, values‑aligned practice sits at the centre of everything I do. Lived experience, curiosity, and a grounded, down‑to‑earth approach guide the way I support people and teams. The “why” behind practice — the beliefs, experiences, and systems that influence how we show up — continues to be a driving interest and a source of ongoing passion.

Reflective, steady spaces are central to my work. These are places where practitioners and teams can think deeply, explore challenges, reconnect with purpose, and build capability in ways that feel aligned and sustainable. The focus is on strengthening areas of ethical, confident, intentional and meaningful practice.

Over the years, I’ve worked with individuals and organisations such as child and family services, mental health, AOD, housing and homelessness, disability, DFSV and so on. This diversity has strengthened my passion for all things practice — how it’s shaped, how it evolves, and how it can be supported to thrive.

Whether supporting a practitioner through supervision or guiding an organisation through change, my approach is informed by authenticity and meaningful growth.

I look forward to working with you!
